We would like to share some of the workshops we attended during the AWS re:invent 2019, they are a very useful hands-on and can get you some very cool ideas on how to empower some AWS services
In this workshop, you will build an end-to-end streaming architecture to ingest, analyze, and visualize streaming data in near real-time. You set out to improve the operations of a taxi company in New York City. You’ll analyze the telemetry data of a taxi fleet in New York City in near-real-time to optimize their fleet operations.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to build a CI/CD pipeline (AWS CodePipeline) to develop a web-based application, containerize it, and deploy it on a serverless Amazon ECS cluster (AWS Fargate). You’ll use the blue/green method to deploy it and you’ll implement a switchover method using an AWS Lambda function. You will build this infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, enabling you to reproduce the environment when needed. You’ll also learn about monitoring and debugging capabilities using Amazon CloudWatch.
Code and walk-through to assemble, program and build your very own multi-user Amazon FreeRTOS and AWS IoT enabled drink dispenser.
This is the base repository that when cloned, will walk you through the steps to build, deploy, and run in your own AWS account.
The workshop participants will work with hardware and microcontrollers, and then interact with their, and others, drink dispensers through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) set of Cloud components.
The goal of this lab is to guide you through a monolith to serverless SaaS migration that provides a more in-depth look at the common moving parts of this problem. Certainly, each solution will have its own unique collection of migration challenges. However, seeing a working example can provide you with insights into patterns and strategies that can help shape your approach to moving your monolithic environment to a multi-tenant SaaS model.
We hope you enjoy these labs, feel free to reach us if you have any questions.
